2025 British Columbia Men’s Mid-Amateur & Mid-Master Championship

REGISTRATION

Registration will be available in the Highland Pacific Clubhouse from 10:00AM to 3:30PM on Monday.

All players must register. Players will be asked to fill out the gear form, to confirm their phone number, intention to play the National Championship, and better ball partner. Tee gifts and local rules will also be distributed. If you are not able to make it to registration, please email jerome@britishcolumbiagolf.org.

PRACTICE ROUND

Players should sign up for a Practice Round under “Tee Sheets”.

YARDAGE & TEES

Maximum yardage is posted on the Tournament Website under “Player Documents”. All play will be from the British Columbia Golf Tee Markers.

BETTER BALL

There is an optional Better Ball competition at this Championship. Players will provide their pairing at registration. Players who do not provide a pairing will not be paired up or appear on the Better Ball leaderboard.

PLAYOFFS

If needed, there will be playoffs for First place in the Mid-Amateur and Mid-Master and Third Place in the Mid-Amateur Division.

POLICIES & CODE OF CONDUCT

Players should familiarize themselves with all Championships policies. The British Columbia Golf Player Code of Conduct, Parent and Spectator Code of Conduct, and Group Pace of Play Policy are in effect.

STROKE LIMIT

Starting in 2025, the BC Golf Championships Committee has implemented a Stroke Limit Policy for this Championship. Players must return a score within 12 strokes of the course rating in at least one of the three rounds. Failure to do so may disqualify the player from entering the BC Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship for a minimum of one year.

CARTS

Carts are permitted and players should pay cart fees daily in the pro shop. There is a maximum of two carts per group and BC Golf will pair riders up. Players who have not previously requested a cart can inquire in the pro shop on a first come, first served basis.

CADDIES

Caddies are permitted. There is no pre-registration. Caddies will need to pick up a caddie bib from the first tee.

RANGE BALLS

The Driving Range will open at 6:30AM daily. Players should get range codes from the Pro Shop.

PLAYER MEALS

Players will be given two $25 gift cards for a meal on any day of the Championship. Please note that the full value of the gift cards must be used in one transaction.

PRIZES

The winner of each division will receive a keeper trophy and the top three will receive a gold, silver, or bronze medal. The top three in the Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship will represent BC in the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Team Competition and receive uniforms, funding, and team bags.

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUOTAS

The Top 14 players and ties will automatically qualify for the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur at Seymour Golf & Country Club from August 18-22. RESTAURANT HOURS

The Café in the Clubhouse opens at 9AM daily. The snack shack serves breakfast starting at 7:30AM.

SCORE POSTING

BC Golf will post all scores to the Golf Canada Score Centre after the Championship.

 SCHEDULE

Tee times for the First and Second Round are posted below. There is no cut.

Final Round tee times will run from 7:00AM to 1:15PM (latest) on Thursday, June 5th.
